Our ambition is to honour romance by allowing you to discover it in all its forms, and to give a voice to those who create it, who shape it, who reflect on it… in short, those who love it! Novelists, illustrators, directors, actors and dubbers, scriptwriters and game designers, researchers… A mix of talents that reflects the diversity of romance.

This event is being organised by the Y/CON team, the French convention dedicated to homofiction, a safe space where fans can meet and share. With the same values and the same ambitions, we hope to create a real experience, an ode to Love.

MEV EVENT : Maryne – Élisa – Valentine

MEV EVENT is an event agency that conceives its own events from A to Z, specialising in niche cultural exhibitions. Fairs, fan-meetings, concerts… from homo-fictions to vampires, right through to BtoB events dedicated to entrepreneurs. We combine our expertise with our passions to create unique events.

We’ve been working together since the creation of Y/CON, our first event in Lyon, 14 years ago (2010). It’s a project that started out as an association, and has enabled us to share our passion for homo-fiction and discover our vocation: to create and share experiences around subjects that are close to our hearts.

Between the three of us, we have a range of complementary skills that enable us to create rich and engaging experiences. Bound by the same work ethic and the same values, our aim is to create events that respect and nurture the passion of our audiences.

Now, backed by our experience and a solid network, we’re launching Ready, Set, Romance! to celebrate romance in all its forms and on all media!
